Technology Details:

• Hybrid AwadhAbhaya (Neelum x Tommy Atkins) is high yielding, regular bearer and very late maturing type.
• Fruit size is medium to large, and light yellow colour with red blush on peel.
• Fruits have strong stalk attachment.
• Weigh about 300-400 g, TSS 25.4 °B, pulp light yellow in colour, very firm in texture and excellent shelf life up to 15 days at ambient room temperature.
• Yields about 89.5 kg/tree by about 10 years of planting under improved cultural practices.
• Hybrid has potential for both domestic and export markets because of firm texture and long shelf life.
